Clubs

All children who attend any of our clubs need to complete a registration form annually which provides important information about your child for the staff such as:

  • Medical Details
  • Emergency Contact information
  • Permissions

There are two registration forms available, please choose the relevant form.

  • Parents of Abbots Hall Primary School who use the Breakfast & Afterschool Club and maybe the Holiday Club – please select Breakfast Club and Afterschool Club Registration Form.
  • Parents from any school (including those from Abbots Hall) who only use the Holiday Club – please select Holiday Club Registration Form.

Please note we are a nut free and cherry free school. Please refrain from sending your child to the clubs with any of these items.

Breakfast Club is available to all current students currently attending Abbott’s Hall Community Primary School.

We are open from 7.15am Monday to Friday, the cost per session is £7.70 per child

In breakfast club we provide a healthy breakfast from 7.15am – 8.15am this includes Toast, Waffles, Cereal, Yoghurt, Fresh Fruit, Squash Juice plus lots more.

During the time the children spend with us in the morning we have a number of toys and games going on including construction, arts and crafts,and role play.

At around 8.30am we do a register and play a few games before walking the children to their classrooms ready for the school day to begin.

Please note we are a nut free and cherry free school. Please refrain from sending your child to the clubs with any of these items.

Afterschool Club is available to all current students currently attending Abbott’s Hall Community Primary School.

These sessions run from the end of the school day to 6.00pm weekdays.

The cost for after school is £10.30 per child.

We provide a snack from 4pm – 4.30pm of Fresh fruit and vegetables, cheese and sweet biscuits, crackers & scones.

Drinks are on offer during the sessions.

Within these sessions there are lots of things to do to keep the children active and interested. Within the club room we have a number of areas for learning, construction free play, role play and small world. We also have outside equipment.

If, however, the children wish to sit quietly and read or complete homework, we have a cosy corner with cushions plus writing tables with books, pens and pencils available.

Staff are always on hand to assist with homework questions, spellings, fact finding or listening to children read. Parents are welcome to talk to staff concerning anything they feel needs addressing or would like us to monitor.

Holiday Club is available to all children living in Stowmarket or the surrounding villages, including those from Abbott’s Hall Community Primary School.

The Holiday Club runs during all main school holidays and the PD days of Abbots Hall CP School.

We are open Monday to Friday 7.30am to 6.00pm.

At Holiday Club we offer breakfast and a mid morning snack with drinks on offer all day. A packed lunch should be provided from home.

Main Session 9am-3pm £20

Please do not drop off prior to 9am or collect after 3pm or you may be charged an additional £5 for the early bird or night owl sessions


Early Bird drop off from 7.30am – 9am additional £5

Night Owl collection from 3pm – 5.55pm additional £5 


To be able to use the Early Bird or Night Owl offers you must also book the main session for the same day

Prices are per child, per session.

All snacks are included in the price but lunch is not so please bring a packed lunch taking note of the disclaimer at the top of this page.

During holiday clubs we have lots of activities going on including:

  • Sports days
  • Plant games
  • Museum walks and visits to see the Animals
  • Trips to the park
  • Bug hunts
  • Arts and Crafts
  • Free flow play
  • Board games, Construction
  • Food Crafts
  • Outside play
  • Themed weeks during the Summer Holidays
  • Seasonal activities, plus lots more

We can assist with homework reading and spellings if requested. Parents are welcome to talk to staff concerning anything they feel needs addressing or would like us to monitor.

We are closed the week between Christmas and New Year and all bank holidays.

Holiday Club booking forms must be completed before starting with us as we need to have certain information which includes medication, allergies, emergency contact details etc as well as permissions from parents for certain activities

We accept:

  • Cash
  • Cheques
  • BACS
  • Childcare Vouchers.

Invoices are prepared at the start of the month in advance, for Breakfast and after school club sessions; Holiday club invoices are prepared during the first
week of the club.

These payments go direct to the bank so please use your child’s surname as a reference so we can track payments.

If the Voucher Company you are with is not listed please let us know so we can rectify the problem.

Cash and Cheques payments can be made at the club anytime in any session.
