Staff Members

Each member of staff has been trained in Food Hygiene, Paediatric First Aid and have Safeguarding qualifications as standard. Additionally, the staff have several years experience of working within the childcare sector and are full DBS checked.

The day to day running of the club and sessions are the responsibility of the staff team.

Catherine Martin
Club Manager
  • Catherine has been with the club for many years, starting as a play-leader moving on to the Deputy Manager, then Manager.
  • She has a level 3 in childcare and Management, as well as training in Autism, Food Hygiene, Epilepsy, Allergies, Risk Assessment, Health and Safety, WRAP, Mental Health, Behaviour and Epi pen.
  • Her working career has mostly been in childcare, she has two grown up children of her own.
  • She is also safeguarding lead within the club.
  • Cathy has two dogs which she likes walking and she likes keeping fit.
Louise Rouse
Deputy Manager
  • Louise started with the club as a holiday club play-worker, moving up to play-leader when she completed her level 3 in childcare, then taking on more responsibility in her job role as Deputy Manager.
  • She has a level 3 in childcare as well as training in Allergies, Food Hygiene, WRAP, Mental Health, Epi Pen, Behaviour and Autism.
  • She is Safeguarding Deputy for the club.
  • Louise has a Frenchie called Bella whom she loves walking
  • Louise is also a teaching assistant in another local Primary School during term time 
Pauline Jackson
Play Worker
  • Pauline started with the club in 2001 doing Afterschool and Holiday clubs.
  • She has a level 3 in Play-work.
  • She likes to do Dance and Study in her spare time.
  • Pauline is the arts & crafts lead for the club and spends lots of her time covered in glitter and sparkles.
Cheri Stacey
Play Worker
  • Cheri is qualified in food hygiene, safeguarding, and first aid.
  • She is currently working towards a Level 2 qualification in childcare.
  • Cheri has three sons, with two still in education and the third now working. She enjoys spending time with family and friends in her spare time.
Cheryl Jackson
Play Worker
  • Cheryl is qualified in food hygiene and safeguarding.
  • She is also a midday supervisor at Abbot's Hall Community Primary School.
  • Cheryl has a son at Stowmarket High School and two dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family.
